6-Week Bushcraft Adventure – Wild Passport Scheme
Join us for a six-week block of 2-hour bushcraft sessions, following the Wild Passport scheme. Each session gives young people the opportunity to learn practical outdoor skills, build confidence and develop a deeper connection with nature in a fun, hands-on woodland environment.
The Wild Passport is built around five key areas of bushcraft:
🪵 Woodcraft – working with wood and natural materials, learning practical woodland skills and using tools safely.
🏕️ Shelter – learning how to build and use natural shelters and developing essential outdoor skills.
🔥 Fire – understanding fire safety, learning different fire-lighting techniques and developing confidence in safely managing a fire.
🌿 Nature – exploring the natural world, identifying plants, trees and wildlife, and learning about the environment around us.
🪢 Rope – learning useful knots, rope skills and practical techniques for use in bushcraft and the outdoors.
First Block – Fire Lighting
We will be starting our Wild Passport journey with six weeks dedicated to fire lighting.
Across the six sessions, young people will learn about fire safety, fire preparation and responsible fire management, while developing practical fire-lighting skills. They'll have the opportunity to build their knowledge and confidence progressively, working towards completing the Fire elements of their Wild Passport.
As each young person completes elements of the Wild Passport, they will receive certificates recognising their achievements and progress.
The First 6-Week Block
The first block runs on:
Monday 2nd November 2026
Monday 9th November 2026
Monday 23rd November 2026
Monday 1st December 2026
