Bushcraft Fundamentals 2 day course

£120.00

Our 2-day course builds on everything covered in our 1-day experience, taking a deeper dive into fire lighting, shelter building, and game preparation.

You’ll explore a range of fire-lighting methods, including the bow drill (often known as rubbing two sticks together), and learn how to develop this into a sustainable fire capable of boiling water.

You’ll also be introduced to simple, practical knots that allow you to quickly construct a tarp shelter, discovering just how versatile and effective they are at keeping you warm and dry in the outdoors.

You will need to bring lunch and any snacks you need but dinner will be provided at the end of day one.  The fire will be available throughout the day for cooking or heating food. Your instructor will also be on hand to offer advice and tips on campfire cooking if needed.

Participants must be aged 12 or over. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tea, coffee, and hot water will be available throughout the day.

The course runs from 10:00am to 5:00pm on day one and 10:00am-4:00pm on day two.

The course will run on a private woodland outside of Grantham, Lincolnshire. Full site details and directions will be provided upon booking, including a recommended kit list and evening meal details.
